We will meet you at Marseille Airport in the first half of the day. If you arrive one day earlier and spend the night in beautiful Marseille, we’ll be happy to recommend the best walking routes, landmarks, and museums to visit. In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel if you come in advance, and together we’ll head to the airport to meet the rest of the group. Once everyone arrives and gets settled in the car, we will depart for the Camargue Nature Reserve — our base for the first three nights of the photo tour.
Camargue is a unique corner of France where nature has preserved its raw, authentic beauty. Vast salt flats, lagoons, and endless fields create incredibly picturesque landscapes filled with light and air. Here, it’s easy to feel as if you’ve stepped into another world: white horses graze freely in wide coastal spaces, flocks of pink flamingos rise into the sky, reflecting in mirror-like waters, and narrow canals and small villages add an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
For a photographer, Camargue is an endless source of inspiration. Sunrises paint the lagoons in gentle pastel tones, while sunsets turn them into fiery canvases. The contrasts between white horses, black bulls, and soft pink flamingos create unforgettable frames. Camargue is the perfect place to capture the rare harmony of wild nature and the delicate beauty of light.
After checking in, lunch, and some rest, we will visit the bird park, where we will stay until closing time to photograph flocks of beautiful flamingos and other birds of southern France in the golden hour.
